Yuna Kim is going to debut as a solo artist!
After so many hardships and debuts, Yuna Kim is finally going back to the Entertainment industry as a solo artist. After the shocking and much unexpected breakup of The Ark, Yuna Kim has left Music K Entertainment.
According to Allkpop, on December 28, a representative of Maroo Entertainment has revealed that they have signed a contract with Yuna Kim. They said that, "She's preparing to debut solo sometime in the first half of next year."
Koreaboo has reported that Yuna Kim joined "Superstar K3" in 2014. She became a YG Entertainment trainee after that. However, after YG Entertainment looked like it was not going to debut any girl group soon, Yuna left the company. She then debuted with The Ark under Music K Entertainment.
Before The Ark, Kim Yuna has released songs with her former The Ark member Jeon Minju and with Tiger JK, Bizzy and Tasha. After that, The Ark released their debut song "The Light" and it garnered a warm response. However, Music K suddenly disbanded the girl group. Yuna Kim then joined "Unpretty Rapstar 3" last July.
Her new agency Maroo Entertainment also manages popular singer and Running Man cast member Kim Jong Kook. Maroo Entertainment houses as well as the upcoming girl group Bonus Baby.
Yuna Kim is already proud of her label mates as she is showing her dedication to her label. Yuna Kim has recently posted on her instagram a picture of Bonus Baby's logo with the members' signature as a support for the girls' debut.
Her fans are really happy that an agency signed her. Yuna Kim has been through a lot since she came to Korea alone. She has worked part time jobs just to support herself. She really wants to be a singer so she is working hard.
We hope Yuna Kim will be successful this time around!
