Kim Yoo-Jung decides skip movie events in January after being hospitalized twice

Young actress Kim Yoo-Jung has left the hospital after being treated for several days. Subsequently, she said that she will not take part in any events in January to promote her new film “Because I Love You.”

Kim was hospitalized after having a severe cold symptom after returning from Taiwan to promote the movie. However, after few days returning from the hospital, she was hospitalized again due to stress she had endure in many promotional events which she must attend.

Meanwhile, the movie company Next Entertainment World made an announcement on Dec. 29 that they will continue the promotion acccording to schedule as reported by Chosun Ilbo. The movie itself is scheduled to premiere on Jan.4, 2017 in Korean and overseas market.

Due to her condition which still needs to recover, the Next Entertainment World announced that Kim will only miss the first week of the promotional activities in January 2017. Previously on Tueday, Dec. 27, her agency Sidus HQ said that she will not attend the entire January’s promotional event of her first movie in 2017 as reported by Joong Ang Daily.

Following the announcement from Sidus HQ, Korean netizens was responded harshly and calling Kim a spoiled brat. Some of the comments are very harsh which may burden her psychological conditions more. Therefore, the agency decides to keep her away from the media and public and give her rest for a week.

Other co-stars of the movie have committed to attend promotional event of the movie. “Because I Love You” is produced by the AD406 Studio, owned by Cha Ji-Hyun the older brother of actor Cha Tae-Hyun who plays the main character in the movie.

Other co-stars in the movie are Song Dong-Il, Seo Hyun-Jin and Lim Ju-Hwan. The director Ju Ji-Hong have also made his commitment to attend the promotional activities.
