'I Will Always Love You' Flier Kicked Off American Airlines Flight After Refusing To Stop Singing 'I Will Always Love You' [Video]

An American Airlines flier was recently kicked off an LA-New York flight after refusing to stop singing Whitney Houston's hit "I will always love you."

The coast-to-coast flight made an unscheduled stop in Kansas City, Missouri so authorities could usher the woman off the plane, reports KCTV 5, but even as she was being asked to leave, she continued to belt out "I Will Always Love You."

A woman posted video of "I Will Always Love You" flier onto YouTube, where its quickly garnered over a million hits from people curious about this "I Will Always Love You" singing flight passenger.

The flight left Los Angeles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday last week, headed to JFK. Airport spokesman Joe McBride said on Friday about the "I Will Always Love You" passenger:

"The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew. There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane."

As she was being escorted off the plane, she kept singing the Dolly Parton penned "I Will Always Love You," which Whitney Houston made classic with her interpretation for the Kevin Costner movie, The Bodyguard

After being escorted off the flight, the "I Will Always Love You" singer was interviewed by police and then released. She was not permitted to board another American Airlines flight because of the "I Will Always Love You," incident.

Police also claim the woman is a diabetic, but that had no bearing on her behavior on the flight, which was unruly, to say the least.

If you watch the clip below, you can make out her mangled version of "I Will Always Love You," and the annoyed passengers who probably never want to hear "I Will Always Love" for the rest of their lives.

The "I Will Always Love You," version sung by Whitney Houston for the 1992 Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner hit film, The Bodyguard spent 14 weeks at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 charts.

The original country track of "I Will Always Love You" was released by Dolly Parton as the second single of her 1974 album, Jolene. Neither singer could have mutilated "I Will Always Love You" as much as the American Airlines passenger, and fliers should be warned that American Idol like song performances are generally frowned upon by fellow passengers no matter who well you think you sing "I Will Always Love You."
