Fan Favorite Chrisha Choo Eliminated from ‘KpopStar 6’

The fan favorite on "KpopStar" Chrisha Choo has been eliminated. It has shocked many viewers as it looked like she was going to be at least in the top 3.

Koreaboo has reported that in the latest episode of "KPOPSTAR6", the beloved Chrisha Choo, known to many fans as KreiSha Tiu, together with former Fantagio trainee who was also in MNET's survival show "Produce 101" Lee Soomin teamed up. The two performed a mash up of BTS' "Blood Sweat and Tears" and Blackpink's "Playing With Fire".

They had to battle out with Kim Hyerim and Min Ga Rin. They performed 15&'s"Somebody". The two cute girls were dressed in matching school uniforms. The performance was really cute and very natural. The two also had a matching cute choreography that blended well with the song and everything so it was very harmonious.

The judges' reason for the elimination of one of the favorites was because of the disharmony of Chrisha and Soo Min's performance, YG stated, "The disharmony on this collaboration stage made it worse than if both of you performed individually. I constantly prayed for you to do well but I was disappointed. I see that you prepared a lot but it feel like you prepared too much."

J.Y. Park added "Concept is the most important thing for girl groups. You guys don't go well with swag or hip-hop. This reminded me how important production is in girl groups and it feels like two talents failed to show their potential today."

Many viewers and fans are still positive about Chrisha's elimination. Many of them think that she will be back for the wildcard pick. A fan commented, "I bet my entire fortune on Kriesha Chu coming back 100% on the fourth round." Netizen Buzz also translated many other comments talking about KreiSha's star potential.

KreiSha Tui will definitely come back or even better; will sign up in an agency that will treat her well. What do you think? Did she deserve to be eliminated?
