Uhm Jung Hwa And Ku Hye Sun Will Star In New MBC Weekend Drama “You’re Too Much”

There's something to look forward to this 2017! Finally, Uhm Jung Hwa and Ku Hye Sun confirmed themselves to be the lead stars in the upcoming MBC weekend drama tentatively dubbed to be entitled as "You're Too Much".

On January 8, Soompi revealed that the two actresses will be starring in a new drama which is reported to have 50 episodes. "You're Too Much" will replace "Blow Breeze" after its finale.

On the same day of the official statement from MBC, the respective agencies of the two actresses also released statements confirming the announcement. All Kpop wrote that Uhm Jung Hwa's agency, Key East Entertainment, revealed that she will be part of the drama as Yoo Ji Na.

So, what's the story behind "You're Too Much"?

The plot revolves around a popular singer named Yoo Ji Na which will be portrayed by Uhm Jung Hwa. Everything will be exciting as her path crosses the path of Yoo Ji Na's impersonator, Jung Hae Dang to be played by the "Angel Eyes" actress Ku Hye Sun.

As a household name in Korea for her amazing vocals, Yoo Ji Na had a 20 years of success. However, not everyone knew what she had went through to get the success she's having at present time. Nobody knew that she sacrificed a lot during her younger years.

A lot of people saw Jung Hae Dang as a very cheerful person. She is that type of person who can still manage to laugh in the midst of crisis. However, behind that laughter is a serious and problematic life. Hae Dang was forced to be the breadwinner of her family after her father got unemployed. To gain enough money to sustain her family, she works as an impersonator and goes on different performances.
