Bae Suzy’s Miss A returns to music with her solo album "Yes? No?" scheduled to release in the third week of January. Prior to her return to music, she recently tried her acting skill.
Suzy’s new album is slated to release on Jan. 24 according to JYP Entertainment as reported by DongA News. She comes back to music after engaged in many acting projects since Miss A released their last album “Hush” in 2013.
Afterward, members of Miss A have involved in their own projects. Suzy who has ventured into acting since 2010 continued her acting projects. She started her acting career in the KBS musical high school drama “Dream High” which earned her the Best New Actress and Best Couple Awards with Kim Soo-Hyun in the 2011 KBS Drama Awards.
Last year, Suzy was cast alongside Kim Woo-Bin in the KBS drama “Uncontrollaby Fond.” The drama was well received in the international audience, despite a drop of ratings in Korea in the mid of the series. In the Youku streaming site, “Uncontrollaby Fond” has accumulated 4 billion of viewers, breaking the record as the most viewed Korean drama in the streaming site.
In most of her drama, Suzy usually also sang one of the OST. So, she did not leave her singing career completely.
Meanwhile Miss A has been taking a break for three years. aIts remaining members Suzy, Fei, and Min were busy with their solo career. While another member Jia was already reported to leave JYP Entertainment and the group in May 2016.
Now, Suzy decided to resume her singing career by launching her solo album titled "Yes? No?" Prior to the release of her new album, according to report from DongA News, JYP Entertainment has released three teaser videos of her new album.
