KCON brings Monsta X to Mexico

Latin American fans are getting two firsts in one: their own KCON and their first show with Monsta X!

Announced on January 4th, KCON Mexico will take place at the Mexico City Arena on March 17th and 18th. Following the formula of KCON's wildly popular conventions, Latin American fans can expect two full days of Korean culture events, panels, meet-and-greets, and shopping. Both days culminate in festival-style concerts that feature some of the biggest names in K-pop. And the first artist confirmed to perform is none other than Monsta X! Much like the convention, this will be Monsta X's first appearance in Mexico so Monbebes are sure to be excited!

Starship Entertainment's seven member hip-hop group debuted only two years ago in 2015, as a part of the survival show 'NO.MERCY', and thanks to tremendous fan service and the boys' great personalities it didn't take long for them to grow a loyal following. Their debut mini-album 'Trespass' and second mini-album 'Rush', including their first hit 'Hero,' earned them the Next Generation Award at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards. In 2016 MonstaX released their third and fourth mini-albums, The Clan Part. 1 'LOST' and The Clan Part. 2 'GUILTY', the latter of which peaked at number 2 on Korean charts and number 3 on the US World chart.

Because we know KCON will announce more performers, be sure to check out the event's website and follow KCONMexico on Twitter.
