BEAST Member Yang Yo-Seob Releases His OST for ‘Hwarang’

BEAST member Yang Yo-Seob has just released his song that become the 6th OST of the KBS drama “Hwarang.” The song "A Move of God" was released Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The song as reported by News1 is a pop balled titled “A Move of God” (신의 한 수= Sin-eui Hansu) and showcase his distinctive vocals in a soft tune. The song will be featured in the 9th episode of the drama.

Prior to release the soundtrack for the drama, Yang has also released OST for other dramas, the first one was for tvN drama “Let's Eat” in 2013. Later on he contributed two OSTs for two MBC dramas in 2014 and 2015, “The Night Watchman's Journal” and “Scholar Who Walks the Night” respectively. This “Hwarang” OST will be his fourth, and the first one for KBS.

His song “A Move of God” has been played several time in the drama as instrumental song. The song followed the previous OST by member of Sistar girl group Hyolyn. She sang the “Our Tears” (서로의 눈물이 되어= Suloi Nunmeol Do-eo) which was released a week before according to official release from the KBS.

Hwarang has enjoy medium popularity due to its airtime on Monday-Tuesday drama which exactly the same time with the highest rating SBS drama “Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim.” However, OSTs for the drama are top of the line.

The first OST was from Han Dong Geun with “Wherever You Are” (그 곳이 어디든= Geu-gosi Udideun, which literally mean “any place”) followed by two BTS member V and Jin with “Even If I Die, It's You" (죽어도 너야=Jukeudo Nayo, literally mean “I will die too”).

The third OST is "Dream" (드림= a transliteration of word dream into Korean alphabet) by the duo Bolbbalgan4. Afterward, two Red Velvet members Wendy and Seulgi sang the fourth OST "Our Tears" (서로의 눈물이 되어= Seolo-eui Nonmuri Dui-eo, literally mean “tears for each of us”).
