'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' News & Update: Rapper DinDin To Interview Vin Diesel

Korean rapper known for his stage name DinDin has been confirmed to be the promotional ambassador for the upcoming Hollywood movie, "xXx: Return of Xander Cage." On Thursday, Jan. 19, the 25- year-old rapper will go to Los Angeles to interview the major cast of the upcoming movie, Vin Diesel.

The young artist has studied abroad in Canada before his debut, according to All KPop. Now, he will attend "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" world premiere to meet and interview Diesel. This would be his first time to showcase his his English skills in a broadcasting setting.

Meanwhile, in the box office, it seems M. Night Shyamalan's horror-thriller "Split" and "Furious 7" actor Diesel's "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" are fighting for for the North American box office crown with about $20 million each this coming weekend, Variety reports. Currently, Universal's "Split," starring "X-Men: Apocalypse" actor James McAvoy, is launching approximately 3,015 North American venues. This movie has been helmed by "The Visit" director Shymalan.

The "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" movie has created a buzz since it was debuted at September's Fantastic Fest in Austin. It follows the story of the three girls who are kidnapped by a guy who has a dissociative identity disorder (McAvoy).

Meanwhile, its contender Paramount's "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" is releasing about 3,600 sites. This movie is a sequel to 2002 "XXX" and 2005 "XXX: State of the Union." In "xXx: State of the Union," Xander Cage (Diesel) was killed in an explosive attack. So in this movie, Cage is not an agent-for-hire.

In American, "XXX: Return of Xander Cage" release date is set for Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, while in Mexico City, the movie has been premiered on Jan. 5 and in India, the action flick has been premiered on Jan. 14. The upcoming action movie is expected to premiere in February. Asian stars who appear in the movie are Kris Wu and Donnie Yen.
