Shinhwa Takes On Random Play Dance On 'Weekly Idol' And Hilariously Fails

Veteran Idol group Shinhwa appeared on the 286th episode of "Weekly Idol" last Wednesday, January 18, 2017. The Legendary group consisting of Eric, Jun Jin, Dongwan, Hye Sung, Minwoo and Andy visited the third floor basement studio and participated in the recording of the show as a complete group for the first time to promote their new song "Touch" from their 13th album "Unchanging - Touch".

Members Andy and Hye Sung appeared on the show last February 2016 during which Hye Sung made a promise with the hosts to bring the rest of the members the next time he is to guest in "Weekly Idol". The idol group brought great laughter as they took part in the different segments of the show, one of which is the Random Play Dance segment.

Idol groups are well known not just for their singing but also for their sharp dance moves. The Random Play Dance segment focuses on playing songs promoted by the singers during their whole career and testing them on their quick reflexes and responses. The production team randomly plays different segments of the songs and the hosts of the Show, Jung Hyeong Don and Defconn, checks for any mistakes the singers made.

This segment apparently was more challenging for Shinhwa as they have more title songs than other idol groups with 18 years of experience under their belt. According to Soompi, the members of the group showed crazy dances and excellent variety skills bringing great laughter to the audience while failing miserably.

Specifically, member Eric who looked lost during the entire segment causing the hosts to remark if they've never heard the songs before, as reported by AllKPop. Other quirky moments would be the one on one dance off between members Shin Hye Sung and Eric Mun who try to prove to be better than the other, members running off in between songs for oxygen and complete chaos when the music stops.
