The popular boy group MONSTA X recently revealed they will have a comeback in February. The members teased their fans, MonBebe, with a little bit mysterious but exciting information.
MONSTA X first revealed the great news during their "Naver V Live" broadcast on Jan. 18. Jooheon acted as the spokeperson for the whole group. The rapper stated, "We will have a comeback soon. Not just that, we also have prepared something way bigger than anything we have ever done before. Everyone, please anticipate!" Jooheon continued to deliver another exciting news after that. He hinted to MonBebe that his second mixtape titled "Out of Control" is coming really soon. The artwork is up on MONSTA X's official Instagram.
Later on during the show, Minhyuk reminded fans to watch "MONSTA X-RAY". The reality show is aired on cable channel JTBC2. As reported by Soompi, the first episode premiered on Jan. 12, and it succeed to make fans laugh as MONSTA X attempted to reenact funny photos of dogs!
MONSTA X first debuted back in May 2015, hailing from SISTAR's label company Starship Entertainment. All seven members were selected through a survival show called "NO. MERCY" that was aired on Mnet. Their debut song was "Trespass" and followed by "Rush" on September 2015. Both songs peaked at music shows; "Trespass" got second place on The Show and "Rush" ranked third on Music Bank. In 2016, MONSTA X released two albums titled "The Clan Part. 1 'LOST'" and "The Clan 2.5 Pt. 2 'GUILTY'".
MONSTA X identifies themselves as a hip hop group and the members are all talented. The leader, Shownu (real name Son Hyun Woo), was a trainee at JYP and was supposed to debut with GOT7. Hyungwon and Minhyuk walked in Seoul 2017's Fashion Week, and Kihyun, Jooheon, and I.M respectively released solo tracks on their own.
