BTS, EXO, TWICE and Red Velvet are just few of the announced winners at the recent 26th Seoul Music Awards last Jan.19. The prestigious Korean Music event is an annual gathering which recognizes Seoul's most outstanding performers, from solo to group performances in the music industry.
The night was filled with fun and excitement just like every year, hosted by Jeon So Mi, Tak Jae Hoon and Super Junior's Heechul. This year's Seoul Music Awards winners was chosen based on a collaborative voting system calculating the total votes from the fans (20 percent), Sports Seoul's popularity poll(10 percent), digital downloads and album sales (40 percent), and judge scores (30 percent), allkpop reported.
Soompi reported EXO's' Daesang' earning the Grand Prize and Wings of BTS as the Record of the Year, two of the top awards that everybody awaited.
