American Fans Flock GOT7's Concert In Miami; Jinyoung, Jisoo Dubbed As One Of The New Faces Of SBS 'Inkigayo'

GOT7 has proven once again that they are truly deserving to be acknowledged in the international music scene. The South Korean all-boys septet launched their 2017 U.S. tour in Miami.

According to Miami New Times, American fans seemingly enjoyed the performances of GOT7 despite the language barrier. "I don't pay attention to lyrics; I pay attention to the way the music makes me feel," Rajhauna Crenshaw, one of the thousands of concert goers, explained.

Rajhauna Crenshaw represents numerous American concert-goers who made the decision to go and see GOT7's concert despite the apparent language barriers. In fact, some American fans of GOT7 only discovered the group via YouTube.

In a sense, GOT7's concert in Miami wasn't a traditional concert since it was also considered as a glorified fan-meet. GOT7 only played eight songs for two hours, while the time spent in between songs were used by the emcee to ask the band members "getting to know you" questions and led them through a fun game of charades.

Meanwhile, GOT7 member, Jinyoung, has been chosen to be one of the new faces for SBS' "Inkigayo." Jinyoung will be joined by Jisoo of Kpop girl group, Black Pink. According to All Kpop, a variety show insider has divulged the details about SBS' "Inkigayo."

"Jinyoung and Jisoo have been selected to host SBS' 'Inkigayo.' We are still looking for a third MC," the insider shared. GOT7's Jinyoung and Black Pink's Jisoo will take the place of former SBS "Inkigayo" MCs, Gong Seung Yeon, Kim Min Suk and TWICE's Jungyeon.

Jinyoung's career began when GOT7 was launched and he has also ventured into acting in Kdramas like "The Legend Of The Blue Sea" and "Beloved Eun Dong." Jinyoung, Jisoo and the still unnamed MC for SBS "Inkigayo" will begin their stint on Feb. 5. Stay tuned to Kpopstarz for more GOT7 news and latest updates!
