Cosmic Girls' Cheng Xiao Ready To Bag Another Gold In 'Idol Star Athletics Championship' 2017

Cosmic Girls' Chieng Xiao is currently making waves in the gymnastics field as she continues to impress the public with her agility and accuracy. Cheng Xiao is part of the "Idol Star Athletics Championship."

According to All Kpop, a video of Cheng Xiao has gone viral as the Cosmic Girls member is seen showing off her rhythmic gymnastics skills and lithe body while preparing for the Lunar New Year special of the program "Idol Star Athletics Championship." The said gymnastics special event will be held at a gymnasium in Gyeonggi Providence.

In the viral video featuring the Cosmic Girls member, Cheng Xiao can be seen making numerous flawless cartwheels while holding a hula hoop. Last year, Cheng Xiao bagged the gold medal, which might be one of the reasons why the 18-year old South Korean performer is training and practicing extra hard for the upcoming gymnastics event.

Gymnastics might be difficult for most people, but when it comes to Cheng Xiao, it seems like she was born to be a gymnast. In a recent interview with "Hello Counselor," Cheng Xiao talked about how much she loves to perform gymnastic moves, especially splits.

"I do the splits when I'm watching television in my dorm," Cheng Xiao confessed. Her confession elicited surprised reactions from the hosts and the audience, considering that performing a split takes a lot of flexibility. Cheng Xiao then insisted that she is actually more comfortable with that position. To further prove her point, Cheng Xiao then lifted her leg onto the chair that she was sitting it and executed an effortlessly flawless split.

Fans of Cheng Xiao can see her compete in "Idol Star Athletics Championship" on January 30. Meanwhile, Cheng Xiao is also busy promoting Cosmic Girls' new single, "I Wish" from their mini-album entitle "From. WSJN." Stay tuned to Kpopstarz for more Cheng Xiao news and latest updates!
