BIGBANG has recently performed what was considered to be their last performance as a complete group. BIGBANG will be incomplete for quite some time as one of its members, T.O.P., will be shying away from the limelight to pursue military enlistment.
According to Hello Kpop, YG Entertainment announced on Jan. 12 that BIGBANG is set to have a special performance in the "Last Dance" stage during their appearance on SBS' "Inkigayo." The said performance aired on Jan. 15 and the fans of BIGBANG all watched the iconic performance of the popular Kpop group.
Amid the looming temporary incompleteness of BIGBANG, their songs continued to dominate the charts and has even bested its opponents on the music program for three consecutive weeks. BIGBANG's new single, "FXXK IT," soared to the top spot on the music program.
According to China Christian Daily, BIGBANG ended its 10th Anniversary Tour in Hongkong on Jan. 21-22. BIGBANG's Hongkong tour was the last leg of the tour, completing 24 performances in six cities. Hit songs like "Last Farewell," "BAE BAE," and "Lies" were only some of the explosive performances that BIGBANG gave the audience in attendance.
"This is our largest-scale performance in Hong Kong and it's our first time performing outside. Thanks to everyone for being with us here. Let's enjoy our 10th-anniversary concert," BIGBANG members shared.
With the unending support that the fans are giving to BIGBANG, it seems like T.O.P. won't have to worry about his paused career when he comes back from military enlistment. BIGBANG's T.O.P. will begin his mandatory military duty on Feb. 9. Meanwhile, YG Entertainment assured the fans that they will do their best to fill in T.O.P.'s absence with solo activities and promotions from other members.
