SISTAR's Bora Birthday Wish Triggers Controversy

Recently, SISTAR's Bora has celebrated her birthday. On Monday, Jan. 30, the popstar celebrated her birthday and she posted a short video on Instagram.

In the video, the popstar yelled, "Gong Yoo, I summon you!" before she blew the candle. After posting the short video, many netizens found it strange and she was criticized.

According to All KPop, One netizen wrote, "Starting with Lee Min Ho previously, it seems she's been mentioning all these top male actors." Other netizen advised her to practice singing more, while the other one seems pissed off as according to him or her, most people would call the actor's character name, while Bora called Gong Yoo by his name.

The pop star has been called "ugly duckling" by an online user, while others pointed out that her age is not even close enough with the "Goblin" actor. Amid the series of criticism against the SISTAR member, Bora has not yet given any statement about the accusations.

Speaking about Gong Yoo, in a recent interview, Choi Ree, actress who portrays the role of Ji Eun-tak's cousin, has recently shared her experience with Gong Yoo during filming the TV series "Goblin" or also knowm as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God." The actress said it is an honor to work with "Train to Busan" actor, Gong Yoo. She admitted that she liked the actor since she was in elementary.
