Fans recently received great news when SBS show "Running Man" has been confirmed to continue airing with the remaining members. "Running Man" had been the center of many rumors and gossips since last year when it was revealed that members Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo were being removed from the show and replaced by Kang Ho Dong. The issue arose when the two entertainers revealed that they only found out about the decision through the news. Following the controversy, SBS had initially decided to end the show in February 2017 but it was revealed that the decision had been cancelled earlier this year.
"Running Man" PD has now revealed one of the reasons why the show is no longer canceled and why the members have agreed to continue with the show. According to Soompi, Nam Seung Yong PD went to the members and apologized once the news that the show had been canceled was out. The first person that the director talked to was singer Kim. During their conversation, the veteran singer agreed with the request to continue the show with the remaining members namely Ji Suk Jin, Yoo Jae Suk, Ha Ha, Song Ji Hyo and youngest member Lee Kwang Soo.
Koreaboo reports that Kim played a big role in the stopping of the cancellation of the show. After speaking with the singer, Nam PD and Kim met with the other members and tried to convince them to continue with the show. As confirmed, there was not much convincing needed as the members easily accepted the proposition.
The Running Man PD further revealed that he posed one question to Kim during their conversation. He asked if they can stay together until the end in which the singer agreed. This just proves how much the entertainment industry respects and loves the singer.
