NCT DREAM has been officially appointed as the ambassadors in the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017. With this, they will be part of the Local Organizing Committee. With this, the appointing ceremony took place in the KFA house on Feb. 15.
Kwak Youngjin, the executive vice chairman of the LOC, together with Cha Bumkun and secretary general Kim Dongdae, have attended the ceremony. According to Soompi, Shin Taeyong, the coach of the Korea Republic U-20 national team is also spotted to be in the event.
NCT DREAM is a multinational boyband from South Korea that consists of six members. These are Mark Renjun, Chenle, Haechan, Jeno and Jisung.
They are also known to have previously appointed Ahn Junghwan and Park Jisung in taking up various roles. Now that the group is privileged to sing the official song for the upcoming, FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017, they will represent the whole Korean nation in this global sporting event.
According to FIFA, the boyband is the perfect choice for being the ambassador to this sporting event, as the members are aged below 20. With this, the boy band will serve as an inspiration to the world that sports and the proper buildup of one's talent will contribute to a better world.
NCT DREAM is also known for their ecstatic and energetic dance moves, which is why they are chosen to sing the event's official song. Mark, a member of the NCT DREAM, has sent out a statement showing his group's gratitude for being chosen as the singer of the official song.
For him and the group, they will do their very best to spread their positive energy to the world. The Official Draw in Suwon Atrium will happen on March 15. Surely, NCT DREAM will nail the event with their highly-energetic performance.
