Recent updates reveal that Sohee compared her lonely character in the upcoming film "Single Rider" to her days in Wonder Girls. According to the updates, the actress stated that her lonely character in the upcoming film reminded her of Wonder Girls in the United States.
The idol-turned-actress, Sohee will portray the role of a character called Yoo Jin Ah in an upcoming movie titled "Single Rider." According to the storyline, Yoo Jin Ah was conned and she loses all the money she saved up to a scammer.
Allkpop reported that in an interview with Asia Today about her character in "Single Rider," Sohee revealed that she had been asked by several people on how she could possibly relate to Yoo Jin Ah who lived a normal teenage life in the film, when she did not have a so normal teen years herself.
In response, the actress added that she thinks that "Single Rider's" Yoo Jin Ah living alone in Australia seemed similar to herself as Wonder Girls in the United States. She stated that she chose Yoo Jin Ah because she believes that she will be able to relate to that.
Scoopnest reported that Sohee also talked more about her "Wonder Girls" days in the United State. The "Single Rider" star stated that they were overseas by themselves, which means they had to do everything for themselves. Sohee said that although there were staffs and managers that were always there to help them out, there were lots of things they had to do by themselves.
Sohee added that her situation with Wonder Girls made her think a lot about Yoo Jin Ah's desires to make money all by herself in Australia and suddenly appear to surprise her parents. The actress concluded saying she think she felt and was able to relate to Yoo Jin Ah's predicament. "Single Rider" featuring Lee Byung Hun, Gong Hyo Jin and Sohee is scheduled to hit theaters on February 22, 2017.
