Pig's Head Prank In Locker At Stoke City F.C.; Players React

The Stoke City F.C. (football club--that's soccer to Yanks) is in an uproar over a prank involving a pig's head. Brek Shea, Stoke City and USA midfielder, has sparked protest after allegedly leaving a pig head in a teammate's locker.

Brek Shae, 23, tweeted a photo of him holding the head of a pig inside the locker room at the Stoke City club's training ground.

The pig's head was left in the locker of teammate Kenwyne Jones. Jones didn't find the prank at all funny, and may have smashed the windshield of teammate Glen Whelan's car as retaliation. Jones reportedly was furious.

The striker's girlfriend, Kiss Abdullah, posted on Twitter: ''Big men acting like kids a pigs head is not a prank its just disgusting!!!!! Wtf??? I don't get how was that sup 2 be funny!!!! Really???'

Shae, 23, is a former FC Dallas player and now plays for the English Premier League Stoke City football club.

Stoke City released an official statement stating,

"A full internal investigation will be carried out, those responsible for any unacceptable behavior will be dealt with in accordance with the club's disciplinary procedures."

On English National Radio, the club manager, Tony Pulis, said, "I honestly don't know what's gone on this morning, I've missed all of what's happened. I try to stay away from the home dressing room as much as I possibly can, I let the lads get on with it. We will look at it tomorrow, I will have a chat with the lads and find out exactly what has happened. From that point onwards we'll let everybody know exactly what the situation was."

The culprit hasn't totally been confirmed as being Shea, but he shared the picture. Michael Owen, famous England striker who's about to retire, denied that it was him.  Last week, Owen posted a picture of his car that had also been pranked by being coated in eggs and flour. The rumor that Jones smashed Glen Whelan's car may mean Whelan was the culprit.
