Latest updates reveal that the staff members and the cast of MBC's "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People" have been traveling all across Korea to capture the beautiful scenery. "Going to the main house involves traveling to Hadong [in real life], taking a few steps out into the yard involves traveling to Gangreung. it also involves visiting the inn means traveling all the way to Moonkyungsaejae.

"We have to move around a lot, and it's tiring, but when I look at the beautiful scenery on screen, it's all worth it," says actor Kim Sang Joong, who portrayed the character of Amogae in "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People." The MBC drama started filming on Nov. 28, 2016. It is reported by Soompi that the drama is filmed at several sites in more seven areas in Korea. This consequently resulted in a total of 15000 kilometers travel by the cast members and staffs of "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People."

Soompi added that in order to give fans an idea of how far the journey they embarked on in 15000 kilometers, fans should imagine travelling from Seoul to Tokyo ten times. It is also enough to travel from Seoul to New York. The cast and crew members have also unveiled photos of the areas they visited to film each of the scenes of "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People."

It is reported that the magnificent views revealed in the drama is indicative of the efforts of the staffs who made an untiring trip around Korea three times in search of better places to film the scenes of "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People." The drama was formerly known as "Rebel Hong Gil-dong," according to Hancinema. Main producer of "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People," Namgoong Sung Woo explained that in a historical drama such as the current one, nice scenery is important in determining its quality.

He stated that their schedules while filming "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People," is so rigorous that they sometimes do not even have time to do their laundries. Namgoong Sung Woo continued to say that, but the important thing is that they are able to forge ahead, thanks to the positive reviews the drama is getting.

The actors' schedules are also very hectic, as it was reported that Yoon Kyun Sang filmed at Hwangmae Mountain, Dec. 28 and 29 and then moved back to Seoul for a script read-through on Dec. 30. The actor was reported to have travelled to Yongin on Jan. 1 to resume filming. The staffs and cast members were also reported to be busy filming on New Year's Day.
