A Pink's Hayoung is ready to take her career to the next level. Six years since joining her girl group, she finally debuted as an actress.
Hayoung is the female lead of the new KBS drama "Find Her." The series is expected to focus on her, Naver reported.
According to Soompi, the said sitcom is the network's special series for Hallyu fans all over the world. The Korean language drama will be aired in 100 countries including Korea.
Hayoung will play the role of a stewardess who helped a Dutch man named Jan search for the woman he loves. Lee Hyun Jae plays the Dutch man and based on the plot, he will fall in love with Hayoung.
"Find Her" will be a story of love at first sight. It has been previously reported that Hayoung will go by the same name in the series.
Lee Hyung Jae and Hayoung will be joined by Kim Ji Hoon and MONSTA X's Hyungwon for the drama. Kim Ji Hoon will play Jeong Nam, who will help Jan learn the Korean language. Hyungwon will play Ik Soo, a popular guy who will be Jeong Nam's rival.
"Find Her" airs March 1 at 12:35 a.m. on KBS World and KBS2. It was penned by Kim Ui-Chan and directed by Lee Hyung-Jin.
Talks about Hayoung debuting as an actress emerged since last November. AllKPop previously reported that the series will be titled "Brother Jeong-Nam," but apparently it has been renamed to "Find Her" in 2017.
Hayoung is the last A Pink member to debut as an actress. Park Cho-rong has been acting since 2011. Yoon Bo-mi and Jeong Hye-rim appeared in "Reply 1997." Kim Nam-joo and Son Na-eun also appeared in K-dramas.
