Greys's Anatomy Season 9 Finale Recap; Grey's Was "The Perfect Storm"

The finale episode of season 9 on Grey's Anatomy, entitled "The Perfect Storm," aired Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. Couples got together, some split up, Meredith had her baby, and of course people died in the finale.

After 9 seasons of action packed drama including a plane crash, a bomb, and a massive shooting in the hospital it wasn't too far fetched for the entire hospital to loose power at the same time a bus blew up in their parking lot, and Meredith went into labor...Just another day at the office.

Meredith finally had her baby, but of course there were plenty of complications.  She had to have an unplanned C-Section with no lights, she was bleeding out after the surgery, and only the interns were there to stop the bleeding.  Bailey came to the rescue so they fittingly named the baby Bailey.

Jackson escapes a gas fire, but not before the other doctors thought he was dead. When April assumed she'd lost Jackson her true feeling came out for him.

"I want you, Jackson. I want you," she told him. "I haven't been fair to you and I've really hurt you."

"You're getting married," Jackson interjects.

"When that bus exploded and...I thought you were gone..." she stammers.

"You're getting married," Jackson repeats.

She looks him in the eyes and says, "Unless you can give me a reason not to."

Jackson draws a breath and...says nothing!

Does this mean they will get back together in season 10? We'll see.

Callie and Arizona, aka Calzona, are having major marital problems. Arizona slept with another doctor, Caliie found out, and the two had a heated argument that ended with Callie saying "I lost you."

Christina and Owen broke up for the 90th time (can't those two just get it together) over Owen's desire to have children.

Alex Karev finally tellshis roomie that he loves her and the two end their scene with a steamy kiss. Finally something a little uncomplicated.

And all the loose ends seem to be tied up until the last scene, which showed Richard Burke electrocuted in a puddle of water. Have we lost Richard from "Greys" for good? We'll have to wait for the next season of "Grey's" which will be the doctors last.
