After an insider from Dream Tea Entertainment revealed Girls' Day's preparation for a new album, the agency has finally confirmed March 27 to be the girl group's official comeback date.
Today, March 10, Dream Tea Entertainment has finally announced the official comeback date for Girl's Day, reports Koreaboo. Good news for the fans as their comeback has been delayed for months.
The still unnamed album will be Girl's Day's 7th mini album. The girl group is currently in their final stage of preparation and shall be filming their music video for their carrier single on March 12.
Producer of Girl's Day's famous hits "Whatta Man", "I" and "Married to the Music" Ryan Jhun has reportedly produced Girl's Day's title track. With this, fans shall expect another hit song.
"Girl's Day will be making their comeback on March 27," said Girl's Day's agency Dream Tea Entertainment in their statement on March 10. "They will be filming the music video for the title song on March 12 and 13."
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Girl's Day's upcoming album will be the first after two years. Their previous album "Love" was released back in 2015.
Girl's Day debuted back 7 years ago in 2010, starting with 5 members: Jiin, Jisun, Jihae, Minah, and Sojin. Member Jisun left the group in September the same year they debuted and became a member of another girl group "New.F.O."
Member Jiin also left Girl's Day in the same year and joined another girl group "Bebop" in 2014. Member Jihae left in October 2012.
Girl's Day's first album was titled "Expectation" and was released in March of 2013. It contained 14 tracks, with the song "Expect" being the album's promotional track.
Girl's Day's second album "Love" was released in July 2015. The album also contained 14 tracks with the song "Ring My Bell" being the album's promotional track.
