Psy has finished recording the finale performance on 'American Idol,' the famous audition show that has given rise to global music audition-formatted shows since its premiere in 2002.

He made sure his fans know to keep the channel on Fox and watch his performance.

On May 17, Psy tweeted a comical cartoon image from a portion of his music video of "Gentleman" and urged his followers to watch the finale of 'American Idol.'

The image features Psy's 'arrogant dance' surrounded by a crowd of senior citizens holding Psy's shopping bags.

Psy successfully put on a show on 'American Idol' which is now about to complete its 12th season. Previously, super stars like Beyonce and Lady Gaga have been invited to perform for the season finale.

On May 21, Psy will also put together a performance of "Gentleman" during the final round of 'Dancing With The Stars' as a special guest to celebrate the last round of competitions of celebrities.
