"Voice" fans, rejoice! The Korean drama is not yet over. OCN just confirmed that the recently concluded series will have two additional special episodes.
"The story isn't over yet. On Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m., Baek Sung Hyun and Son Eun Seo will provide commentary for the 'Voice' special episodes," OCN wrote thru their official Facebook page. What can viewers expect from the special episodes?
The "Voice" special episodes will contain interviews of lead stars Jang Hyuk and Lee Ha Na as well as Baek Sung Hyun, Yesung, Kim Jae Wook, and Son Eun Seo. It will also show behind-the-scenes, Naver reported.
"Voice" was able to prove its popularity with good ratings in spite of being broadcast on a cable channel. It started strong with 4.1 percent during its first week and finished at over five percent ratings.
The crime drama followed Kang Kwon Joo (Lee Ha Na), who is a voice profiler who overheard the murder of her father through a phone call. On the other hand, Moo Jin Hyuk (Jang Hyuk) was a detective who solved crimes but felt guilty that he was not able to protect his own wife. Together, they chased the serial killer responsible for the deaths of their loved ones.
It was being praised for the solid storyline. The superb acting of the entire cast also contributed to the success of the drama.
Will it open the possibility for the cable network to extend the series? Many viewers are hoping for a follow-up season of the crime drama. OCN has not talked about anything about Season 2 but two additional episodes surely would not hurt for now.
"Voice" concluded on March 12 after a total of 16 episodes. It took the 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday timeslots. Meanwhile, Soompi reported that the special episodes will air on March 18 and 19.
