EXID Discloses Official Date for The Group's Much-Awaited Comeback

EXID's exact comeback date has reportedly been confirmed. The group's agency, Banana Culture Entertainment allegedly announced that in April 10 EXID will be coming back as a four-member group with LE, Junghwa, Hani, and Hyerin. The other member Solji will be temporarily absent from her activities due to health reasons.

The group's members, according to Soompi, have proven their vocal talents through various shows and performances. Apparently, Hyerin previously appeared on "King of Masked Singer" and wowed the audience with her powerful voice. Hani on the other hand recently received praise for her song "Milk" that she sang for a social networking site Pikicast.

Moreover, Hyerin had reportedly doubled for Solji during the 2016 end-of-the-year performances. Accordingly, Solji is currently on a temporary break after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism late last year. "Solji's hormone levels have returned to normal, but she is still receiving treatment for inflammation," was Banana Culture Entertainment's announcement.

The comeback will be the group's first since the release of their first full-length album "Street" in June of last year. In the upcoming April issue of Arena Homme Plus, EXID opened up about their comeback next month. LE accordingly told the magazine that in their upcoming promotion, the group will showcase EXID's unique, cheerful image.

Allegedly, EXID's image will undergo a change. Hani also said that she was able to experience changes personally, especially after becoming 26 years old. The girls also revealed that it would be a totally different album from what they had released before.

EXID is short for exceed in dreaming. It is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group allegedly made their debut, according to Wikipedia, as a six-member group in Feb. 2012, with the single "Whoz That Girl." EXID was a part of the lineup for KCON performing at the Mexico City Arena in Mar. 2017.
