Sooyoung of Girls' Generation is accordingly prepared to be the first host for "SNL Korea" season nine. She reportedly held an interview with the production team wherein she allegedly said that she enjoyed watching Tiffany host an episode during the seventh season. The show she was watching allegedly made her ponder that she should do better than Tiffany.
The production team said that Sooyoung is overflowing with enthusiasm and shows her desire to host well. It was further said, according to Soompi, that she possesses a variety skills. As such, it is apparently expected to see some good synergy with her and SNL Korea. The forthcoming season nine episodes of SNL Korea is scheduled to air in Mar. 25.
The staff of SNL further said that Sooyoung was very eager to try different characters even though the role will make her look goofy. She was apparently known to be funny in several shows. Her fans believe that she would also show the playful side of her as she acts out goofy roles in SNL. Because she is so talented, fans expect to see more of her especially in dramas and stages, where she purportedly belongs.
As a Korean singer, Sooyoung, according to SNSD, made her debut as a singer in the Korean-Japanese girl group, Route 0. Currently, she is a supporting vocalist and lead dancer of the K-pop girl group, Girls' Generation. She apparently was an SM Entertainment trainee for six years and three months after passing her audition at the 2002 SM Entertainment Open Audition.
The actress Sooyoung is well known for her role in My "Spring Days." She was discovered in the SM Casting System via the 2000 SM Open Audition. She then auditioned for the 2002 Korea-Japan Ultra Idol Duo Audition and won first place. Subsequently, she was sent to Japan where debuted as a member of the duo Route θ, alongside Marina Takahashi.
