David Beckham Retires with Tears -- Bids GoodBye on His Last Home Game

The hottest and one of the best English soccer players of today, David Beckham, bid a tearful farewell as he announced his retirement at the end of the season.

Before David Beckham finally head into leaving the sports professionally, he made his final home appearance for the Ligue 1 champions, the Paris Saint Germain. On the 81st minute of the game, the England star, David Beckham left the soccer field while given a standing ovation by fans and spectators.

The 38-year old sports celebrity, David Beckham, helped Paris St Germain last week to catch their 1st league title since the year 1994, after winning over the Lyon. He then announced that he will already retire at the end of the season after he successfully acquired several championships in various leagues held England, United States and Spain.

While bidding his goodbyes, David Beckham gave his sincerest gratitude to everyone in Paris, to all of his teammates, his staff and his fans. Tears were running down from him as he leave the field and  substituted just ten minutes from the end of the game, scoring a 3-1 victory against Brest.

During his final game, he was appointed to be the captain by their coach Carlo Ancelotti. Beckham said, "It's been very special to finish my career here." Leaving the pitch, Beckham got a lot of warm embraces from all this teammates while the crowd continue to cheer in a standing ovation.

A video was shown during the presentation of the Ligue 1 Championship trophy to PSG and it ended with simple phrases, "Thank you, David.

This time, Beckham just wants to enjoy his time together with his family. He mentioned, "I now want to enjoy time with my family. I have all the memories I need." Beckham also regarded Paris as one of most beautiful places for him in the world and he is sad that he is leaving.
