Rain And Kang So Ra To Star In Upcoming Cyclist Movie

Rain, together with Kang So Ra, have just been confirmed to be one of the cast in an upcoming movie about the life of Uhm Bok Dong. They are also joined by Min Hyo Rin and Park Jin Joo. Uhm Bok Dong is a real life Korean cyclist that had an important role to play during the Japanese colonial era of Korea.

There will be three main roles in the film, and with this, Lee Gyeung Young and Ko Chang Seok are also reported to be joining the ensemble cast as well. Apart from the depiction of the life of Uhm Bok Dong, the movie is also said to be depicting the story of Uiyeoldan. The movie is indeed expected to be a masterpiece due to the many real life events and personalities that it features.

Uhm Bok Dong is a well known cycling hero who has helped his fellow countrymen during the challenges and hardships of the Japanese occupation of Korea. Meanwhile, Uiyeoldan is a group of armed people who are fighting for independence against the Japanese.

The group was established in 1919, and had since then posed a threat to the Japanese soldiers who were stationed in Korea during the time. The group is also known to have bombed key facilities and killed important personalities and figures during the height of Japan's imperial expansion across Asia. The film is now drawing massive expectations due to its historically themed plot line.

According to Korea Joongang Daily, Lee Beom Soo will be the movie's producer, and that he might even get a special appearance. The movie will start filming and shooting this coming April. Surely, this will be another box office hit knowing that an ensemble cast of stars and a historically accurate plot line are on the movie.
