Popular K-pop boy group, BTW, which is also known as the Bangtan Boys, has just announced that they will still continue their upcoming U.S. tour despite the recent death threats that they received. The boy group says that it will just instead maximizie its security to ensure that their lives are kept safe.
The death threats came from a Twitter account which bears the username @AntiBTSAnti. The Twitter account had shown specific death threats against one of the members of the group, Jimin.
The death threat states that the Jimin is planned to be shut by a gun during his upcoming "Lies" performance. Furthermore, it also states that the planned murder will be done during the group's concert in California at the Anaheim Honda Center.
According to Billboard, the capacity of the stadium is around 19,000 people. It will also be hosting two BTS sold out concerts which will be held from April 1 to April 2.
The Twitter account featured a series of dead pigs which were blasted, as well as guns and other bloody and violent photos. Meanwhile, Big Hit Entertainment, the management agency of BTS, has also confirmed that it will do the best of what it can to ensure that the boy group will be kept safe.
The company says that security will be strengthened and that they would even ask the help of the police to ensure that there will be no threat to the life of the hit L-pop boy group. The upcoming concert if part of BTS' international tour, dubbed as the 2017 Wings Tour".
It's very first concert happened in South America. BTS will also be having their own concerts in Newark, Chicago and New Jersey.
Meanwhile, the boy group will set their eyes on Asia starting on July. They will have their concerts in Hong Kong, Thailand and Japan.
