Recent reports have confirmed that Gil and Gary, the two members of the vocal duo, Leessang, has finally separated ways. Just recently, Leessang Company, the private management company that is founded by Gil and Gary, has released an official statement confirming that they have stopped doing business. This also means that the hip-hop duo will cease to exist.
According to All K-pop, a former employee of Leessang Company surprisingly revealed that there are no more employees working for the management company. The former employee also added that it is most likely that the management company exists in order for the sake of the profit that its gets from the duo's music recordings.
Ever since the duo's single, "Kaleidoscope" was released in 2015, they decided to focus more on their solo promotions. With this, most rumors and speculations regarding the true cause of the split suggest that it was all about the differences in their personality, as well as the controversies regarding their company building.
Another insider also went on to reveal that the two didn't really have a good working relationship with each other, especially during times of music recording promotions. According to another report by All K-pop, Gil was even unaware that his music partner, Gary was married. This proves that the two are really not in good terms.
For now, there is still no official confirmation regarding the disbandment and split of Leessang. Perhaps it is the best point of action for the two to finally put an end to the business operations of the Leessang Company. It might also be a step by step procedure done by Gil and Gary to not deal a heartbreaking and surprising blow to their fans that have supported them throughout their successful career in the K-pop industry.
Let's hope for the best for Gil and Gary of Leessang.
