G-Dragon's Upcoming Solo Concert: Everything You Need To Know

There is no doubt that G-Dragon, one of the members of hit boy group, Big Bang, is one of the most popular K-pop icons of today. Now, reports have it that he will be holding a solo concert this coming June 10.

YG Entertainment, the management company of G-Dragon confirms the news last Wednesday. With this, fans enthusiastically reacted to the upcoming concert, as they can focus on G-Dragon only, and not on the other Big Bang members.

The company had even released a concert posted in its own official channel on that day, specifically at 3 p.m. in the afternoon. With this, one can see that YG Entertainment is doing the best of what it can to hype up the upcoming event as it will be one of the biggest milestones in the career of their valuable asset, G-Dragon.

According to Korea Herald, the upcoming solo concert of G-Dragon will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on June 10. This concert will surely be a different kind as it will not feature all of the Big Bang members, which is the common scenario of most concerts that he had. Surely, this will be a big moment for G-Dragon to solidify his identity in the K-pop industry.

It is also worth noting that the Seoul World Cup Stadium was also the same place where Big Bang held their own "BigBang10 The Concert: 0.to.10 Final in Seoul". This was held last January 2017, and was a big success.

The upcoming solo concert bears the title, "G-Dragon 2017 Concert: Motae". This will also be his third solo concert. His first concert was way back in 2009 and was titled as "Shine a Light, while his second solo concert, "One of a Kind" was in 2013. According to Hello K-pop, "Motae" translates to mother's womb.

Tickets will start to be sold to the public this coming April 13. Surely, this upcoming solo concert will be a big success.
