BTS News and Updates: Is a Rap Monster And The Chainsmokers Collaboration Happening Soon?

After collaborating with American rapper Wale for the socially engaging track "Change", fans are hoping that BTS leader Rap Monster may be collaborating with another internationally renowned duo soon. This fan clamor came after a recent twitter interaction between Rap Monster and The Chainsmokers.

According to a report by Soompi, the twitter engagement actually started when Rap Monster shared with his fans what music he's been listening to. He shared that he was currently listening to "Young" by The Chainsmokers which is part of their first full length album "Memories: Do Not Open."

Even though the post was in Korean , it seemed like the duo of Andrew McTaggart and Alex Pall noticed the shoutout and expressed their thanks by replying to BTS' official twitter account, which incidentally recently reached 5 million followers. "wow thank you!!!"The Chainsmokers replied in their own tweet.

Some BTS fans, known as the ARMY were quick to point out that a collaboration between Rap Monster and The Chainsmokers would be really great because all three guys are talented producers and musicians. Fans pointed out that it would not be an impossible idea since The Chainsmokers is known for actively collaborating on many of their hits. Among the artists that The Chainsmokers has collaborated with are Halsey for "Closer", Daya for "Don't Let Me Down", Rozes for "Roses", SirenXX for "Kanye", Great Good Fine OK for Let You Go and most recently Coldplay for "Something Just Like This." However, there were those who were not big fans of the duo and wanted the BTS leader to listen to some other music instead.

BTS has recently concluded the US leg of their Wings Tour to sold out arenas in New Jersey, Chicago and California and also cemented their reach to the US market. While they were in the US , they also received shoutouts from one of the artists they admire Kehlani, punk pop band State Champs and talented singer/songwriter Charlie Puth, SBS Pop Asia reported.
