K-Pop Boy Band BTS Prepares To Take Over America

BTS, who is arguably one of the most popular K-pop boy bands in South Korea together with EXO, has just reached a recent milestone. This is after they have made their way to the Top 40 of the Billboard 200, thanks to their "Wings" album.

Last April 2, they also solidified their grasp on the American crowd as they concluded their final sold-out concert in their U.S. concert tour. According to Billboard, BTS member, Rap Monster has just had a music collaboration with Wale, a U.S. hip hop star. The title of the music recording is "Change".

The collaboration touches real-life issues like voting rights and online blackmailing and harassment. With this, BTS member Suga, says that they want to take on the global stage in opening the reality of social and political issues to the youth. And because of this, they are planning to once again take over the U.S. in a musical perspective.

Reports also suggest that BTS is once again preparing for a new album, and that it is most likely to be released in the last part of this year. This will surely bring up the hype and excitement of the people as their fans will very much look forward for the release of BTS' new album.

Bang Si Hyuk, the CEO and executive producer of BigHit Entertainment, the management company of BTS, says that the upcoming album is specifically made to increase their global fan base, as well as dive into political issues that will make the world a better place to live in. This is what true music means, and it is to help solve real social problems.

With all of these being said, BTS and their company sure knows how to make efficient and proper use of their music and talent. Hopefully, more K-pop bands and idols will follow their footsteps.
