IU Drops Another Teaser For 'Palette': Sues a YouTuber For Sexual Remarks

IU just dropped another teaser on midnight April 13 KST. The photo was uploaded in her official Instagram account.

IU has been casually teasing fans as the release of her comeback album draws near. According to Soompi, IU's most recent teaser opted for a vintage look.

In the Instagram photo teaser, IU stood on a sunlit room wearing casual clothes, pulling her hair behind her back. Aside from the vintage photo filter, the room also had vintage flowery wallpaper reminiscent of the 40s era. IU's photo had the caption "Right, shall we start doing some promotions now?"

Entitled "Palette", IU's newest album is slated to be released on Friday, April 21. IU already released two tracks from "Palette" titled "Through the Night" and "Can't Love You Anymore" which achieved an all-kill feat on iChart music charts on Friday, April 7.

In other news, IU and her agency Fave Entertainment will be taking legal actions against a Korean YouTuber. According to All Kpop, the YouTuber allegedly made sexual comments against IU during his recent live broadcast.

On the YouTuber's recent live broadcast, a follower asked whether the YouTuber liked his dog better or IU. The YouTuber responded that he liked IU because she could please her sexually unlike his dog.

A user watching the YouTuber's broadcast warned him that he could be sued because of the words he was spewing. The YouTuber then arrogantly said "If IU were to sue me, it would be an honor. Then I could meet IU in court."

"If I tell her I'm her fan, she'll let me go," the YouTuber added. "If I meet IU, we can talk and she'll forgive me, so it's a win."

Fave Entertainment then filed a lawsuit against the YouTuber. In their statement, IU's agency stated that they would not be holding back the case.

The YouTuber immediately uploaded a video after the agency's statement. He apologized in the said video and claimed that he did not intentionally ridicule IU.

Unfortunately for him, Fave Entertainment announced that they will not be withdrawing the lawsuit against the YouTuber despite his apologies. IU fans and netizens have stated their support with the agency's decision, saying that the YouTuber should not be let off the hook that easily.
