Ji Sung And Cho Seung Woo Offered Leading Roles in Historical Film 'Great Site'

After the successful run of his drama "Defendant," Ji Sung is reportedly considering a role in a film opposite actor Cho Seung Woo in a historical film. The report has been confirmed by the management of both actors.

According to a report by Soompi, Namoo Actors and Good Man Story Entertainment, who handle Ji Sung and Cho Seung Woo's careers, respectively, stated that they received offers for their clients to star in the film. The film is entitled "Great Site" that will revolve around the fate of the person who will become king.

Based on the early information released about the film, Ji Sung was offered the role of a prince. Cho Seung Woo will be cast as a feng shui master if he agrees to accept the role. The two characters will play the key roles in the battle for a famous gravesite that will determine who is worthy to become the future king.

Ji Sung recently concluded his successful SBS legal drama "Defendant" which posted a ratings high of over 28 percent in its peak, reported Kpopstarz. He played the role of a prosecutor who was framed with the murder of his wife but could not defend himself because he was suffering from memory loss which blacked out his recollection of the crime. He received many positive reviews for his portrayal of the role for the series which was even extended by two episodes because of popular demand.

Cho Seung Woo is also a veteran actor who last appeared in the movie "Assassination" and "Inside Men" which both came out in 2015. He also received the Grand Prize for the MBC Drama "The King's Doctor" in 2012. He is set to return to the drama scene vis tvN's Secret Forest which is expected to release this June in the cable network.
