Sechskies Comeback: YG Entertainment Preparing Special Events To Celebrate The Group’s 20th Anniversary

Veteran group Sechskies is ready to take the stage this month. The boy group debuted in 1997 will be releasing a brand new album to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Sechskies' label, YG Entertainment, has prepared a lot of exciting events to spoil fans that have been waiting for this epic comeback for so long. Allkpop reported YG Entertainment as of now has released a promotional poster that spills a little bit detail of what fans will be excited for. According to the poster, Sechskies comeback activities consist of 5 essential events: album launching, exhibition, concert, photobook and DVD, and fan-meeting.

On March 30, YG Entertainment released a statement that Sechskies was preparing to film a new music video. The boy group reportedly has done a photo shoot in Hawaii as a part of its promotional activities.

Sechskies members have been working on their comeback album since the end of last year, Soompi reported. The group will also include some of its previous recorded tracks consist of multiple genres like dance and ballad. Their brand new tracks will surely get fans satisfied after a long wait to see Eun Jiwon, Lee Jaijin, Kang Sunghun, Jang Suwon and Kim Jaeduk reunited.

On December 2016, Sechskies has released an album titled "2016 Re-ALBUM", which mostly consists of the updated versions of the group's most popular songs. Sechskies' first single after reuniting, "Three Words", has proven that the veteran group still has its charm. Meanwhile, fans have also been showing their excitement on multiple internet forums, saying they can't wait to see all five members of Sechskies share the same stage again singing a brand new song.

Sechskies upcoming comeback album brings a sentimental value for its members and fans. The album will mark their two decades of achievement in the K-Pop industry. The album will also be Sechskies' first original album after reuniting last year.
