In the age where celebrities use social media to reach out and interact with fans, it is rare to see a popular actress like "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon's" Park Bo Young who doesn't have Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. The actress said that it's a conscious choice on her part because she wants to be careful about what she wants to share with the public.
According to an interview with Soompi, Park Bo Young admitted that she is not social media savvy like most of the celebrities her age. She shared that she is often influenced by her feelings so she does not want to give in to impulse and do that on social media. Instead of maintaining a social media account, she said that she is more comfortable with an old school alternative to dealing with her thoughts and emotions.
"Instead, I write in a journal everyday," Park Bo Young said. "There are many benefits to writing in a journal. At first, I started writing in a journal to help me prepare for interviews but now I write in it so I don't forget any precious memories."
Park Bo Young admitted, however, that she is not closing her doors to engaging fans online. As a matter of fact, she recently created a V Live account so that she could appear in broadcasts for her fans. She said she is more comfortable with the medium since she is able to think about what she should and shouldn't share in a broadcast.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" recently ended with record high ratings for JTBC. The finale episode of the Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik starrer broke the 10 percent mark after the rom-com fantasy series opened to a JTBC ratings high of just over 3 percent.
Even after "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" ended last week, fans are hoping that Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will give dating a chance in real life. Fans observed the strong chemistry and rapport between the on-screen couple and believe that they would make a great off-screen couple as well, Kpopstarz reported.
