"Bad Guys" Season 2 To Air This Fall

Fans who have been waiting for OCN to return with "Bad Guys" Season 2 will be happy to know that there is a very real possibility that the second season of the exciting crime thriller could air this fall. It is also expected that the original team of Kim Sang Joong, Park Hae Jin, Ma Dong Seok, Jo Dong Hyuk and Kang Ye Won will be returning to reprise their roles in the series.

According to a report by Soompi, "Bad Guys" Season 2 is expected to be part of OCN's fall line up. The return of the Mad Dogs could happen after OCN completes airing of its current series "Tunnel", the upcoming "Duel" and 2PM Taecyeon's "Save Me." The team is also expected to wait for Park Hae Jin finish the filming of his current spy drama "Man to Man" and the upcoming "Cheese in the Trap" movie adaptation.

OCN has been gearing for "Bad Guys" Season 2 since last year but was waiting for "Bad Buys" Season 1 writer Han Jung Hoon to be available to write for the upcoming season. Han Jung Hoon was also one of the writers for mystery drama "Missing 9" which recently aired its final episode.

To make sure that the original formula for the show's success will be maintained, Han Dong Hwa, who worked as the on-set camera director for Bad Guys Season 1, will now take over as the PD of "Bad Guys" Season 2. This move, along with the original team, is expected to create the perfect set up for the team's next big mission, Drama Beans reported.

It can be recalled that Bad Guys Season 1 revolved around suspended detective Oh Gu Tak (Kim Sang Joong) leading a team of convicted criminals serial killer Lee Jung Moon (Park Hae Jin), underground thug Park Un Cheol (Ma Dong Seok) and hired assassin Jung Tae Soo (Jo Dong Hyuk) to work on solving crimes that even the police find difficult to deal with. At first, the selection seemed random but as series progressed, the connection among the characters slowly came to light and pretty soon, audiences find themselves conflicted about the concept of right and wrong.

"Bad Guys" Season 2 is expected to focus on a better teamwork among the special team especially since at the end of the original season, Oh Gu Tak was, like the rest of his team, also a convict paying for the crimes he committed in his quest to avenge the death of his daughter. The conflict is also expected to focus outwards as the team already cleared up their issues within the group.
