After the news of Yoochun getting married broke out, the media has been dying to get a statement from the JYJ member. On April 20, reporters waited outside Yoochun's office in the Gangnam district.
Unfortunately for the reporters, they did not even get one word from the JYJ member. As soon as Yoochun walked out his office's door, the K-pop idol immediately headed for his car.
According to Koreaboo, it only took 5 seconds for Yoochun to reach his vehicle. It was obvious the JYJ member was avoiding the media for some reasons.
All the reporters took was their pictures of Yoochun wearing a face mask, a black cap, and a gray hoodie. Yoochun was also surrounded by what looked like his office mates.
Yoochun is currently working in the Gangnam district as a public service worker. This is in part of Yoochun's service in the military.
An official from where Yoochun was working has then released a statement regarding his marriage announcement. In the official's statement, he said that it was around lunch time where Yoochun announced that he was getting married.
The official was then flooded by calls from [presumably] reporters, and asked him whether Yoochun went to work on that day. The official also added how people have been gathering outside their office since the announcement.
Rumors of Yoochun getting married was circulating around the internet early last week. It was only until Wednesday, April 12, that Yoochun confirmed that he is officially tying the know with his non-showbiz girlfriend.
According to All Kpop, Yoochun's fiancée is named Hwang Hana. Hana is the granddaughter of Namyang Dairy Products' CEO.
Yoochun's fiancée is also a well-known blogger. Hana recently opened up a new Instagram account after she closed her first one due to netizens leaving hateful comments.
Yoochun and Hana are set to be married in September 10, after Yoochun's discharge from his military service in August. The private wedding ceremony is to be held at the Shila Hotel in Seoul.
