Jennifer Lawrence 'Mystique' Pic By 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Director Bryan Singer; Plus Jennifer Lawrence 'Morphing' Into Mystique [Pic & Video & Gif]

Here's a new pic of Jennifer Lawrence as "Mystique" in the the Bryan Singer-directed X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film is a follow-up to X-Men: the New Class, and it features the recent Academy Award winner, Jennifer Lawrence, as the all blue mutant who is Magneto's right-hand in their battle against the X-Men and Professor X.

The Academy Award winning actress for Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence was cast as Mystique during the reboot of the franchise after X-Men: Last Stand finished with Rebecca Romijn having played Mystique during the various earlier incarnations of the character.

The director of Days of Future Past, Bryan Singer, couldn't wait until the movie hits theaters in July of 2014 to show off Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, so he tweeted out a picture of Jennifer Lawrence clad in all her blue make-up as they film scenes for the summer of 2014 release.

So what do you think? Is Lawrence going to make as good a Mystique as she did in her first X-Men film, or will Rebecca Romijn's iteration of the Mutant villain who can't quite get comfortable in her own skin, blow Lawrence away?

After Jennifer Lawrence took the role of protagonist, Katniss Evergreen, in the smash hit series of books: The Hunger Games she has become a household name and celebrity fodder. Then, Lawrence won the Academy Award for her role opposite Bradley Cooper in the Oscar nominated Silver Linings Playbook.

But Jennifer Lawrence still has her duties to the X-Men franchise to uphold, and that includes hours of makeup to get into character as Mystique, the morphing mutant in Marvel's X-Men comics.

The newest X-Men movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past deals with time travel, and so it'll feature older characters and new ones, so look for the two Mystiques to meet while the audience goes ga-ga over Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn sharing the sliver screen together.

Jennifer Lawrence will also have to deal with her ex-boyfriend, Nicolas Hoult, on the set as he reprises his role of Beast in the new film. The two were recently spotted dining out together in New York City, but Nicolas Hoult reportedly snubbed Jennifer Lawrence (like a fool!) for Elvis Presley's granddaughter, Riley Keough. But Hoult and Lawrence aren't the only ones set to star in the next X-Men movie.

James McAvoy (as Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto) and all the actors from X-Men: The New Class will return for the new blockbuster, as will the actors who played the older versions of those characters in X-Men, X2 (X-Men 2) and X-Men: Last Stand, so look for a ton of cameos with only Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry the same throughout as Wolverine and Storm, respectively.
