The Brady's Take Over King's Island, 40 Years Later [VIDEO]

Ever since its network premiere in September of 1969, "The Brady Bunch" has become an indelible part of American pop culture.

Although its been 39 years since the weekly exploits of America's favorite family left primetime for good; some fans never stopped wishing that they too could be a Brady.

"I think everybody, at some point in their life, wanted to be a Brady." Kim Williamson of Huntington, WV said. "Their whole family seemed so perfect."

"The reason the show has become a part of Americana, despite the fact that there have been other shows that ran longer, rated higher and were critically acclaimed, is that the episodes were written from the standpoint of the children and addressed situations that children could understand," according to creator of the series Sherwood Schwartz.

This past weekend a few of the Brady's, Cindy (Susan Olsen), Greg (Barry Williams) and Peter (Christopher Knight) reunited in celebration of the 40th anniversary of an episode where the gang traveled to King's Island theme park in Mason, OH and sold out four shows at the 844 seat venue within the park.

The former Brady Kids posed for pictures with fans and answered questions as well.

Williamson brought books with her, and waited after the show to pose with the actors.

"They were so nice. I think it resonates with the child in all of us to want to be a Brady," She said.

"This is going to be so exciting," Donna Delph said.

The mother and grandmother came all the way from Hebron, Ohio with her grandson Aiden to see the live cast reunion.
