Lee Byung Hun has been confirmed to appear in the comeback music video by K-pop sensation PSY. The two international superstars are expected to join forces for the much-anticipated music video which will release this May.
According to Yonhap News, the G.I. Joe star has finished filming for the music video which is still being kept as a surprise from PSY's fans. Lee Byung Hun's appearance is a big deal for the music video since the actor has been focusing on his Hollywood career lately. It remains unsure what his level of participation is for the video as PSY is also known to feature tons of cameos in his music videos.
Lee Byung Hun has been featured in prominent franchises like G.I. Joe, Red, Terminator and The Magnificent Seven where he worked with stars Dwayne Johnson, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is considered to be one of the most successful celebrities from Korea to penetrate the US market after he was cast in blockbuster franchises. He is reported to be good friends with PSY in real life.
PSY and Lee Byung Hun are known to be supportive of each other projects. It can be recalled Lee Byung Hun attended PSY's concert in 2013 while the singer also attended his red carpet premiere for the film "Red 2."
Lee Byung Hun's appearance in PSY's music video is part of the K-pop artist's tradition of featuring superstars in his MVs. His international hit "Gangnam Style" featured K-pop artist HyunA while his "Gentleman" follow-up featured Gail from Brown Eyed Girls.
PSY is expected to release his comeback album this May after the release of his album "Psy-da" a year and a half ago. Aside from the album, he will also release two music videos. One of the music videos is expected to feature Son Naeun of Apink, according to Kpopstarz.
