April's Chaewoon Revealed Her Extreme Diet To Lose Two Kilograms In A Day

There have been many reports about extreme diets done by idols. It is no surprise since there are high expectations from the company, fans and others. Moreover, K-Pop idols need to look pretty in their shape so they can attract many people to root for them. Recently April's Chaewoon revealed her secret in losing weight.

April has their show called "A-If-Ril." In the show aired on Mnet on Apr. 25, Chaewon said that summer was coming soon. Thus everyone needed to do dieting. She also said that she did jump rope for about 8,000 times a day and she once lost two kilograms in a day, AllKpop reported.

It was really shocking how she revealed her diet secret. But she then said that excessive diet was not good for the body. She may have her secret exercise in doing her diet, but people can adjust it to their need. They can do rope jumping and do it on certain times only.

Previously, AOA's Seolhyun also just revealed her diet secret. Different from Chaewoon who did rope jumping for 8,000 times a day, Seolhyun chose to drink a lot and didn't eat when she wanted to look perfect with her shape of body, Koreaboo reported. She also added that her slim picture in the past was her inspiration in doing the extreme diet.

It is shocking to have the idols have extreme diet to maintain their body goals. Yet, it cannot be blame that they want to do it as they need to look perfect performing on stage. Meanwhile, many fans have asked their idols to maintain their health instead of doing extreme diet.

Idols doing extreme diet may still continue as they need to keep their weight in certain numbers. There have been many reports saying that company often asks the artists to check their weight in order to ask them to lose their weight. It seems so brutal yet it is the reality of K-Pop industry in Korea.
