"Goblin" actor Gong Yoo was in Taiwan on Saturday, April 29 for a fan meeting. During the event, the actor revealed why he does not have SNS accounts.
As reported by Koreaboo, a Taiwanese fan asked the "Goblin" actor why he does not have any SNS account. Gong Yoo's answer revealed how much of a simple person he really is.
"First of all, I don't have SNS accounts because I don't like taking selfies and photos in general," replied Gong Yoo. The actor also added how he likes to see things in actual and preserving them in his memories rather than taking a photo of it.
"Most of the time, these services are used to share photos. So when you show a photo, you have to package and edit it in a certain manner and I don't like it because it's unnatural," added Gong Yoo. Apparently, the "Goblin" actor does not want to do much effort in editing the photo just for aesthetics.
However, Gong Yoo clarified that his reply was just his personal opinion on having SNS accounts. For the actor, an SNS account is just not for him.
Gong Yoo was widely accepted in Taiwan. Various Taiwanese news outlets closely followed Gong Yoo: For 4 days, the Taiwanese media covered the actor's activities - from the moment he landed up until the moment he left the country.
According to Soompi, Gong Yoo performed his version of Yoo Jae Ha's "Myself Reflected in My Heart". The actor's attire reminded the fans of Lee Dong Wook who portrayed as the "Grim Reaper" in "Goblin".
Gong Yoo also had his closest friend, the singer-songwriter MYQ. MYQ also revealed some of the "Coffee Prince" actor's well-hidden secrets.
At the end of the event, Gong Yoo almost cried a river as his Taiwanese fans surprised him with a video presentation. The fans also made banners that showed their loved towards the actor.
Gong Yoo is currently taking a break for his next fan meeting event. The "Goblin" actor is set to fly for Hong Kong on Saturday, May 6.
