YG Entertainment will establish a joint venture with KT and District to develop hologram contents.

On May 20, YG announced, "We will move into full swing with contents business development. The joint venture, Next Interactive K, Limited, will focus on hologram performances and contents by Korean artists as well as global artists for the use of amusement parks."

Starting with the hologram showcase to be held in August at a major Korean amusement park, Everland, YG and KT will begin opening K-pop theme parks in multiple locations including Jeju Island. They plan on building around 20 more K-pop theme parks in countries like China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, as well as North America and Europe by 2015.

At the first showcase in Everland, Psy's "Gangnam Style" will be performed. By September, additional contents by Big Bang and 2NE1 will be made available.

With its expansion into hologram contents, YG will be able to surpass physical, spatial limitations in its effort to take K-pop overseas.

Psy's first hologram performance to be held in August at 'YG at Everland' will be first revealed on May 21 at 2013 WORLD IT SHOW in Gangnam's Coex Mall.
