According to Soompi, BTS' two songs, "Not Today" and "Fire", helped the boys to make the top 5 list of Billboard's Twitter Top Tracks Chart. The South Korean current top-selling group even beats One Direction's debutantes, Niall Horan and Harry Styles.
Billboard determines the chart based on the number of shares and mentions during the week. It's safe to say that ARMY, BTS' fanbase", has successfully brought the group to achieve another milestone.
In addition to BTS achievement in Billboard's Twitter Top Tracks Chart, The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation dubbed the group as the top boy group in terms of brand value in May. In another report from the same news outlet, BTS' Japanese version of "Blood, Sweat, Tears" has gained an impressive selling record with total 223,083 copies sold within two days. Not only that, the track also topped Oricon's Daily Single Chart. The single album of "Blood, Sweat & Tears" also contains the Japanese version of BTS hit tracks like "Spring Day" and "Not Today".
Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to attend Billboard Music Awards 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 21. BigHit Entertainment has confirmed the group's attendance on May 9. The group will compete against Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande to win Top Social Artist Category. Rap Monster, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, Suga, and Jin will also make red carpet entrance prior to the event.
