Governor Cuomo Warns Khloe Kardashian About Use Of NY Farm Logo; Khloe Pulls Shirt After Letter Threatens To Sue If She Keeps Selling T-Shirt[VIDEO]

New York Govornor Andrew Cuomo warnso Kloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom in a letter after becoming aware of a T-shirt produced by the couple's fashion label looked similar to the logo used by the New York Department of Agriculture. Cuomo warns Khloe not to make anymore of the copyrighted T-Shirts. Scared Khloe pulls Shirts and yanks it from website.

Cuomo's administration confirmed today that a "pro forma" letter was sent to Khloe Kardashian asking her to remove the t-shirt from her clothing line.

The letter reads: "The State of New York has invested substantial time, effort and resources creating the respect and goodwill associated with the trademark."

The letter asks for Khloe to stop selling the T-shirts and to provide the state with information about how many shirts have already been sold.

The letter from Cuomo claimed New York State would sue the duo if they did not immediately stop selling shirts with the identical design. After Khloe received Cuomo's letter, the couple immediately pulled the shirt from their website. Glad to see Khloe Kardashian didn't put up a fight with New York Government administrators.  It was the right decision, although the battle would have been fun to watch.

The state's design has an image of the Statue of Liberty above crop rows, encircled by the words "Pride of New York."

Khloe Kardashian's shirt contains the Statue of Liberty image and crop rows and, in font similar to the New York logo, the words "Rich Soil New York."

The two designs are way to eerily similar to be considered a coincidence. Somebody in Khloe's camp, or Khloe herself my have copied the New York Department of Agriculture sketch right from the picture thinking it was cool.

Either Khloe didn't know what her designers were up to, or wasn't aware of the copyright infringement laws.  Either way it's surprising to see the usually sharp Khloe Kardashian have a glitch in common sense.

Cuomo avoided discussing the incident at a press conference later that day.

"I wish I could [comment] in some ways," Cuomo said. "Because it would at least be a little more interesting than what I normally do."

The reality stars have also remained quiet on the subject. Though Khloe, 28, and Lamar, 33, frequently tweet to their fans, neither has made mention of the incident on their social media accounts. It's probably a little but embarrassing.
