TVXQ's Yunho Will Star A New Drama 'Meloholic' As His First Project After Finishing Army Duty

TVXQ's Yunho is about to make his comeback in acting with a new drama. He is reported to be the male lead in a drama "Meloholic," which is based on a webtoon.

Yunho's comeback in a drama was confirmed on May 25 and he will play the character of a man who has the power to read people's minds. In this drama, he will also fall in love with a woman with a split personality. "Meloholic" will be Yunho's first project after he finished his army duty in April 2017, Soompi reported.

The drama will be directed by PD Song Hyun Woon who previously worked in "Oh Hae Young Again" and "Introverted Boss." The drama is scheduled to start filming at the end of May, AllKpop reported.

Yunho has done great with his army duty and it is proven by his certificate from the South Korean army. Previously, on May 10, there was a picture of Yunho and a senior officer posted on Twitter, showing Yunho holding a certificate. He received a high score 90 on shooting, strength, mental strength, and combat training, Soompi reported.

Yunho is known for his muscular body but knowing him has great skills in many aspects has made fans fall for him more. Yunho started his military service two years ago and he just finished his army duty in April 2017.

Yunho finished his military service on Apr. 20 and around 800 fans welcomed him in front of Army's 26th Mechanized Infantry Division at Yangju, South Korea. In his greeting, he said that he was thankful for the fans because he felt energized by fans' letters. He also added that being in an army duty helped him to mature a lot, Hello Kpop reported.

Yunho's comeback in acting will be a great gift for his fans, especially as the first project after finishing army duty. It will be a new challenge for Yunho since he has never done this kind of role before.
